Is It Healthy To Swim In Hotter Climates?

We just moved to the desert about 3 months ago and we have a 37000 gallon pool she insists on swimming every day and then sitting and laying in the hot sun for about a half hour after she gets out our pool is chlorine and she is white blond almost 60 and the temp gets around in the summer 104+ Is this healthy?

Hi,

Swimming every day is healthy and good for the body. There is no problem with the chlorine content of the pool. If she has blonde hair, she may require special shampoo against the chlorine.

On the other hand, sitting in too much sun can cause sunburn and in the long term skin cancers, so it is worthwhile avoiding the sun when at its hottest and also putting on sunblock of SPF 50+
