Is It Natural To Have Heavy Vaginal Bleeding And Pain After Taking Misoprostol?

My wife missed her period on 20th Aug and after confirmation of pregnancy I have consulted a gynecologist and she suggested for mtpill and my wife took the mifepristone on 6th sept at 9 am and 2 misoprostol on 8th sept at 10 am and other 2 misoprostol at 2 pm same day. Now she is facing heavy pain and bleeding which is not bearable.. is it normal? If yes please suggest how long pain and bleeding will continue. I have given her anafortan N for pain relief..

Yes vaginal bleeding and pain are both complications of the combination pills. But heavy vaginal bleeding and pain is a cause of concern. You need to take your wife for assessment as soon as possible.
Its very difficult to predict when the vaginal bleeding will stop. As your wife is having heavy bleeding with pain, there are chances that it has become complicated. So please seek doctors advice immediately if the bleeding and pain has not come down.
