Is It Necessary To Have Antibiotics For Infected Cuts On Elbows?

My husband has been training with the military in the jungle. Cut both elbows and whilst one looks bad the other is horrendous. Hot redness around it covers a 8 inch area, it is very inflamed and hot and the cut itself is oozing pus, a big lump of bright green pus came out of it last night. He needs antibiotics right?? Thank you

For infected cuts on elbows your husband must have to take some antibiotic like cefadroxyl or ampoxin after an expert advice along with combiflam or ibugesic-plus to reduce redness and inflammation. He can use soframycin cream or neosporin powder for local application.
