Is It Necessary To Remove The Ovarian Cyst With Follicles?

I'm 41 now years old and had a cyst burst in 2005. I was hospitalized for 3 days. That was 6 years ago. For the past 2 weeks, I have been having really bad pain on my left side abdomen. I had an ultrasound done yesterday and they found a 33.7x25.5x 35.6mm cyst with developing follicles. Should I have this removed? I have a family history of cancer as well.
