Is It Necessary To Wear Glasses If Having +0.5 Cylindrical Power?

hello. i am 23 yrs old female ..recently i got an eye check up and it came out to be +0.5 right eye cylindrical. Though the doc advised me for glasses i doubt wearing them because every one is saying that the problem im having almost every one faces, so its not necessary. But whenever im working on my computer which is very common or im trying to watch tv it takes time to figure out thngs and that strains my eyes . please give the apt advice as iv to then buy a pair eye glasses and please suggest the right lenses for them if i hav to buy them at all. Hello
It seems from the history that you are having refractive error in the form of astigmatism.
This needs to be corrected as not using of glasses will cause symptoms of eye strain.
Hence I advice you to consult your optometrist for prescription of glasses after refraction testing.
