Is It Normal For A Teenage Boy To Experience Confusion, Panic, And Uneven Breathing When Not Getting At Least 6 Hours Of Sleep?

Is it normal for a teenage boy to have a kind of brain snap when they don t get at least 6 hours of sleep. Recently I ve had this thing where if I don t get enough sleep anything can set me off on what I call a brain snap. Basically, it starts with me being really confused about something, then I start freaking out and my breathing starts being uneven. It s hard to control the breathing too, because I cannot think straight or act as I normally would. It usually lasts anywhere from 15 mins to an entire day if whatever set it off appears again. I honestly have no idea if this is an obvious question or not, but I am looking for an honest answer.
