Is It Normal For A Very Old Mole To Grow After Pregnancy?

Uhm, I have had a mole on my back my entire life. It has always been flat and brown. I got pregnant and had a baby at 25 weeks. My mole has grown since pregnancy to be squishy and the color it once had is now merely a dot on top of it. Is this normal?

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Yes it is normal for mole to grow bigger in pregnancy.

2) This happens with skin stretching as well as hormonal influence

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
