Is It Normal For Labia To Burn While Urinating After Bikini Waxing?
Hi it stings so much when I pee I actually can't bring myself to go.. It's the labia that hurts.. Not internal.. I think it started because I waxed the area, then got thrush and it was extremely irritated.. Now it feels like there is cuts all over and broken skin. So much pain please help
Hi there. Yes it sometimes happens. In your case looks like an irritant contact dermatitis superadded with some sort of mixed fungal/bacterial infection. Use a gentle mild wash like Cetaphil cleanser for the area over the next few days & avoid any harsh chemicals. Use a cream called Candid-B that contains a mixture of antifungal & Steroid that will help allay symptoms when used twice/day over the next 3-5 days. An oral single dose of 150mg fluconazole may also benefit but will require a prescription. Do feel free to use this HCM portal to source out a dermatologist nearest you. Good Luck. Cheers!
