Is It Normal For Pulse Rate To Drop After Taking Nebivolol For Hypertension?

I am 54,male.I don't smoke. I used to take 5 mg Nebuvilol for myhypertension and my pulse dropped to 40 . I play tennis every day. My doctor brother changed me to Amlodipne. My B.P. is 130 X 82 and I have two machines at home for checking B.P. which I keep using alternately. I have a raised heart rate of around 85 after a nap in the afternoon which comes down to 55 after an hour. Why is this so? Is this O.K.?

NO heart rate less then 50/min is considered as bradycardia
normal heart rate is between 60-100 beats per minute.
a nap or relaxation of body decreases the blood pressure as well as pulse rate ,but a pulse lesss then 50- can cause troble
amlodipine is a dihydropiridine clas of calcium cjhannel blocker ,though trial shows that is does not slows heart yet other drugs of this class causes bradycardia, so i would advice you to shift to losatan tablets
