Is It Normal Not To Get Period On First Month After Starting Birth Control?

So I went to the doctor and got birth control, i really didn't understand what she was saying because i was nervous. i didnt know when i was suppose to take the first pill, all i heard was sunday. so i took it sunday, and 2 weeks later i got my period.(same date as the month before). But now i havent got my period for jan. yet.. so is it normal not to get your period the first month or 2 after starting birth control?

No it is not the ususal situation. But if you have taken all your pills regularly then you should not worry as it occurs with some females. You should be strict on your tablet schedules.
