Is It Normal Of Having Fluid Discharge With Blood From The Wound?

HI, I had a surgical removal of the sebacious cyst on my abdomin, superficial healling took place, but it was hard inside. My Doctor said there is blood clot inside which is not allowing the wound to heal,so he opened it and drained the clot and i am getting it dressed every day. But there is draining of fluid with some blood still. Is it normal? There is no pus formation.

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some part of sac left behind which is not allowing complete healing and wound is not closed completely.
Many a time sac is very delicate and may not remove completely.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course and if there is no improvement then you might require one more surgery to remove remained sac.
Consult your treating doctor and discuss about this.
Ok and take care.
