Is It Normal To Be On Bed Rest For High BP During Post Partum?
Is it standard practice to put a post partum women on bedrest for high blood pressure? The woman is 37 and was on bedrest for high BP for a month prior to her c section. Her bp has remained high since the baby s birth despite her taking beta blockers (they lower it for a time then it goes back up). She has been on bedrest (and not at work) for 2 months post partum for this and I am a tad suspicious. Thanks!
