Hi,

According to your description, I am thinking that you have undergone loop diathermy for some cervical lesion.

Usually, after diathermy, the bleeding will get controlled due to the sealing of small blood vessels there.

As you are straining more, there is the possibility of opening up of those small bleeders due to dislodgement of blood clots.

Another possibility is an infection. If the symptoms persist, better to consult your gynecologist once, get examined and take treatment accordingly.

Usually, antifibrinolytic drugs and antibiotics can help in this situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri SR,
