Is It Normal To Experience Hot Flashes, Nausea And Bright Red Bleeding In Stool After Birth Delivery?
Hi I m a 27 year old female and weight 160 lbs. I just gave birth vaginally almost 3 months ago. I now have intense pain in my stomach after i eat and I have varying amounts of bright red blood in my stool, along with extreme hot flashes and sometimes nausea.
Hi, Thanks for the query. Delivery may not be responsible for your present problems. There is possibility of dysentery. It presents with pain abdomen, blood in stools etc. Blood in stools can be seen due to anal fissure, constipation etc. Thyroid hormonal abnormalities can present with intolerance to heat, constipation etc. Straining due to constipation can lead to bleeding in stools. So, once consult general surgeon and get examined. If she recommends go for thyroid profile once. By examination and investigations the exact cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
