Is It Normal To Experience Intense Pain In Ovary Before And During Menstrual Cycle?

Im 34 yrs old and i have very intense pain from my right ovary before and during my menstrual cycle. I feel like there is something inside of me like a ball in my pelvis. I feel like there s a blockage. This has been going on for 11 yrs. I ve even had surgery 4 yrs ago to c if I ve have endometriosis or fibroid tumors. (Neither were found.) I m in so much pain and I can t seem to get pregnant. I m about to give up. Will removing my right ovary mean that I will no longer be in pain? I ve been to numerous doctors and they tell me that there s nothing there. I m so helpless, this is not normal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
- some ladies do get menstrual/ premenstrual pain .It can be due to hormonal disturbance/ PCOD/ Pelvic inflammation/ ovarian cyst
* A range of investigations & treatment of the specific cause would relieve you. Please consult a gynecologist for proper advise.
- Your main problem seems to be about conception.
* Please do not get discouraged. Investigations of both sex partners are needed to find cause of non conception.
Thanks.
