Is It Normal To Experience Muscle Cramps When On Meloxicam?

I have started taking meloxicam once a day and a tizadine every 6 hours. This was prescribed for back spasms. My is it normal on these meds th get muscle cramps that wake you up all night causing extreme soreness in un affected muscles arms neck. If it is normal how long do these affects last. Thanks Scott

It is not uncommon to experience muscle cramps when taking Meloxicam or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). While muscle cramps can be a side effect of Meloxicam, it is important to consult with a healthcare provider if you are experiencing muscle cramps or other side effects while taking the medication. The healthcare provider can assess the cause of the muscle cramps and determine the appropriate course of treatment. In the meantime, staying hydrated and stretching may help to alleviate muscle cramps.
