Is It Normal To Feel Air Going Between My Mouth And Nose After Teeth Removal?

Hi, I had four teeth out about 6 days ago. I have air going between my mouth and nose but my dentist says it is fine but I am worried. I also on one socket have a thin almost round piece of skin which comes down and goes up into the cavity. Is this normal?
