Is It Normal To Feel Giddy, Tired On Taking Cilazapril 500mg For High BP And Levothyroxine 100mg For Low Thyroid?
Hi my name is Christine, I have for the last 3 days been taking cilazapril 500 after having been to doctor and being told I have high blood pressure, I also take for my thryroid levothyroxine ta 100 mcg blood tests show my thyroid is very low, my question is after the 3 days I am very light headed , tired and I am not sure if I should be taking both of these tablets now. I am to receive a new script for thyroxin in 50mcg so as I take one one day, but two the next. What is a worry is this awful giddy space in my head. Is this normal? or should I seek further advice. Thank you.
Hi Christine, Welcome to HCM. Whatever symptoms you are experiencing are adverse effects of cilazapril & should disappear in 2-3 weeks once you get accustomed to the medicine. Its normal to have those side effects with cilazapril & nothing to worry for that. Wish you good health. Regards.
