Is It Normal To Feel Pressure At Vaginal Opening At 33 Weeks Into Pregnancy?

I am 33 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I went into preterm labor at 32 and they game me two shots to stop contractions. I have been put on bed rest and been doing well. Wednesday i went for a check up. I had and internal exam to see if anything had changed. I was the same (1+ dilated and 70% effaced). Starting yesterday I started getting really tender and sore at the opening of my vagina. It feels so tender to sit, roll, walk or anything. It also feels like there is something sitting at the opening causing pressure. It does not feel any better today, if anything i think it hurts even more. Is this a normal thing or should i get it checked out?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Pain and pressure in the lower vagina with the history of preterm labour pains and one finger dilated cervix is indicative of impending labour and delivery.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, and treated accordingly as inpatient.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
