Is It Normal To Feel Very Flush And Redness On Cheek After Spinal Tap?

I had a spinal tap two days ago to comfirm symptoms of MS. I have been lying flat as recommended by the DR. but starting today I have been feeling very "flush" and have redness in my cheeks. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
