General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Slight menstrual irregularities and spotting are quite common with birth control pills.

In most cases, it will settle by itself even without any definite treatment. If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. An ultrasound scan is required to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
