Is It Normal To Get Itchy, Hot And Red Arm After Solumedrol Shot?

Hello. I had a solumedrol shot in my left arm on Thursday afternoon (due to allergic reaction/asthma). My arm has been itchy, hot, red, and hard since then and is not getting any better. Is this a problem or is it normal? Thanks and God bless. Sister H.
