I have a pimple right around my areole and hair is growing out of it. However when I squeeze it puss comes out. When I don t touch it it gets smaller but puss comes out as soon as I touch it and sometimes it hurts a little like those painful pimples that come on the face or back. Is that normal?
Pimple like lesions around areola may be folliculitis. So, do not worry. It may go away by taking short course of antibiotics. And you seem to have acne vulgaris on face and truncal acne on back. Acne is multifactorial disease. Stress, worries, hormonal influence, diet like milk and oily food, drugs like oral pills, genetic factor, dandruff..etc may be responsible. Antibiotics like azithromycine or minocycline may be taken in proper dose for few weeks to few months. Clindamycine gel may be applied. You may be alright.Still, you consult dermatologist. I hope you my answer.
Thanks.
