Is It Normal To Have Brown Pus On Tonsil?

I've had white pus on my tonsil for a few days and today I saw that the pus is now a dark brown as well as white. The brown seems almost like a scab, but I can't tell. A rapid strep test was taken and it came back negative, but I was prescribed antibiotics anyways. Is this brown pus normal?

the pus discharge from the tonsils is not normal, you can complete the course of antibiotic and if the problem still persist better to consult your ENT surgeon...
do saline gargling(put salt in warm water) or betadine gargling...
