Is It Normal To Have Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Birth Control Pills?

Hi, I had been taking birth control pills Diane 35 for a few months but then got off them for 3 months. This month I started taking them again the first day of my period; now it s been 10 days and my period has stopped but I m having a brown discharge- is this normal?

Hello,

This is quite normal due to hormonal imbalance. Anyway, if the bleeding persists, I would recommend consulting with your gynecologist for a physical exam and an abdominal ultrasound.
