Is It Normal To Have Cough After Stent Introduction?

i have recently being under gone engiography and i have been introduced by three stent. i am 52 years old and had never been any history of heart disease or BP. Now from last four days i have continuous cough . Please advice is this cough because of stent or is it a normal cough. and if this is because of the stent introduction is this a serious issue.

hi,

thank you for Providing the brief history of you.

As post stent there shouldn't be any cough issue. if that elevates than there might be some infection of the lungs leading to the cough

I will advice to take a thorough clinical examination and a blood routine to see if any infection is persisting. based on which the antibiotics may be initiated.
