Is It Normal To Have Facial Swelling After Taking Penicillin And Pain Medicine For Toothache?

I called my dentist monday because I had been having a toothache so he prescribed me some penicillin and pain medicine and he is going to see me next tuesday. so that means I will have taken the penicillin for a week. I didn't have facial swelling until my third day of taking the antibiotics. Is that normal?
