Is It Normal To Have Fever Several Days After Surgery?

hi i am 35 years old and just had a lap/vaginal hysterectomy 3 weeks ago. i was sent home 2 days after surgery and then 8 days later admitted back in for a pelvic abscess. was in the hospital for 5 days on iv antibiotics and a drain tube. the drain tube has been removed and i am still taking 2 kinds of antibiotics. for the last several days i have been running a low grade temp about 100. is this normal or could something else be going on?
