Is It Normal To Have Frequent Chest Pains, Shortness Of Breath And Rapid Heart Beat During Pregnancy ?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and experiencing frequent sharp chest pains, shortness of breathe and a racing heart beat. Is this normal during pregnancy?

Hi Meagwarren, welcome to H.C.M.Forum, do you have vomitings, or vomiting sensation, lack of appetite, these are called collectively as hyperemisis gravidarum. in abscence of these also some times gastric symptoms may appear like this. you need to use P.P.I , antacid liquid, if vomitings are there anti emitics, under the supervision of a gynaecologist. if B.P is found consult a cardiologist. thank you.
