Is It Normal To Have Headaches After Choking On Food?

I chocked on a piece of French fry and thank god my husband was there he got it up. my chest hurt and I felt like I was going to pass out. I don t think it was very long not breathing but I really don t know. it has been a couple of hours and my head still hurts should I be concerned

It is possible that the french fry entered into the wind pipe which causes the issue. The chest pain is being caused by this. This is the most possible cause.

You should see a Doctor or go to the ER so that you can get to the diagnosis and then you can be helped better. All the best.

There is a small chance that you have a heart related issue as well and you should get an ECG to confirm this.
