Is It Normal To Have Irregular Periods After Ovarian Cyst Removal Surgery?

Hi Dr. Samuel my wife had ovarian cyst removal surgery on her right ovary about a month ago. She had her period during the surgery/right after. She has not missed her next period but was curious if it was normal if she was to have irregular periods after the surgery for some time?

HI,

Ovarian cyst surgery has nothing to do with menses. At the maximum first cycle may vary. But after that she will have normal cycles.
