Is It Normal To Have Irregular Periods While Being On Sprintec?

i started sprintec birth control pills and am on my second pack. i skipped the first week of placebo pills but started my period regardless. I am 3 days short of being on my period for two weeks. is something like this normal for the first couple of months when starting birth control?

Sprintec is a combination of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. This medication is available in generic form. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting..and. Bleeding between periods (spotting) or missed/irregular periods may occur, especially during the first few months of use.Sprintec is a 28-day regimen of tablets, with 21 days of active (containing hormones) tablets, and 7 days of inert tablets.
