Is It Normal To Have Low Body Temperature?

My 5 yr old son has been on antibiotics for a week for tonsillitis. He ran a fever for a couple days, but is now having a low body temp of 96.5. He is acting like his normal, playful self, but is pale and cold to the touch. Is running a low body temp normal after having an infection and should I be worried? (Even though I already am.
