Is It Normal To Have Nausea And Vomiting After Removing Tonsils And Adenoids?

I got my tonsils and adenoids removed about 5 days ago and have experienced nausea and vomiing in the last two days. I am now off the pain medicine because of this but I am suffering from very blurry vision, especially in my right eye. Is this Normal? And will it go away?

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding nausea and, this developed after 5 days of adenotonsillectomy operation.

Here I would like to tell you that this development may be due to-

1- Gastritis.

2- May be because of present medication as a side effect, as seen in few patients.

For this you need not to worry please consult your surgeon for management.

Regards.
