OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. If your previous menstrual cycles were regular and your gestation age is correctly calculated, then at 8 weeks of gestation, the fetal heart beat is present in the ultrasound. If it is not present, then it can be a delayed conception or missed abortion. Moreover, loss of pregnancy symptoms like nausea is more suggestive of missed abortion.
I would suggest you to get a repeat ultrasound one week after the last test to confirm the diagnosis and get further management accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
