Maybe it s because I ve never noticed before but lately whenever I put my head to rest on my knees I get this weed smell. I used to think it was my shoes but then I realized it was my legs. Dermatologist 's  Response
hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you have smelly feet, which may be due to bromhidrosis( bacterial action on sweat)
my treatment advise would be:
- soak your feet in warm water for about 20 minutes twice a day.
- do not wear socks or shoes two days successively.
- if possible, wear open toed shoes.
- spraying deodrants on shoes, socks and feet may mask the smell.
- you may also use antiperspirant containing aluminium chloride which may block the sweat glands.
wishing you healthy skin
thank you
