Is It Normal To Have Peeling Skin While Recovering From Hives?

I have had a severe case of hives, as an allergic reaction to Amoxicilian. The hives are going away slowly, but I am peeling in many places. Especially, my hands and feet, where they were the worst. Is this normal after hives? How long does this last?

In some cases of allergic reactions, this type of peeling may occur with hives. Generally, this type of reactions go away on their own, usually within a week.
