Is It Normal To Have Prolonged Period After Implant?

I ve just had my 2nd implant done and I ve had a prolonged period which lasted over a month is this normal ? Also I keep having blood appear after sex with quite bad stomach cramps. I never had this with my 1st implant at all. Is it connected to the hormones from it or is it something else?

Hi

implants can cause heavy bleeding and prolonged periods but should not cause bleeding after sex per se. Make sure your cervical smear is upto date and if the bleeding persists show it to a Gynaecologist.

Thanks
