Is It Normal To Have Sore Throat On Sneezing After Tonsilectomy?

My son had a tonsilectomy/adenoidectomy 34 days ago. He had a minor bleed on day 7 ( healed on its own...nothing was done at hospital,,,just observed. We are a month and a half past surgery and he still complains of a sore throat when sneezing. this is the only time things hurt. is this normal?

Hello,

Sneezing may build a pressure in nasal and oral cavity it may cause pain. So avoid heavy blowing of nose. Use salt water gargling thrice a day. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
