Is It Normal To Have Spotting While Having Implanon?

Hi, I was wondering I have had my Implanon fitted for almost a year now and haven't had any problems and no periods at all! Yesterday I noticed almost like a spotting and today the same! Is this normal ? Will it keep occurring? Ive also read these things can keep going for months!?

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well yes implanon sometimes causes side effects like break through bleeding or spotting. This is because of the hormonal effect.But in case the symptoms worsen then you may have to consult your gynaecologist. Hope i was helpful to you.
