Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, it seems that your symptoms are due to inflammatory reaction in response to injury. In addition to aseptic dressing you can take an anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with serratiopeptidase and an antacid.
If your symptoms persists, get your finger examined by your doctor.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.

General & Family Physician Dr. Michelle Gibson James's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Swelling is the normal inflammatory response to any trauma though it can also be seen in an infection.
Infection would also be accompanied by increased warmth, increasing tenderness, discharge, increasing redness.

Since the injury occurred only yesterday then you can consider monitoring for now. The use of antiseptic cleaning solution and the topical antibiotic can be continued.

If any signs/symptoms of infection occur then you should visit your doctor.

I hope this helps
