Is It Normal To Have Twitching Over The Surgical Stitches?

So I cut my left thumb towards the bottom and I needed to get 6 stitches I haven't moved it all that much I'm just trying to not use my left hand at all and there has been a lot of twitching where the stitches are and I'm wondering if this is normal ?

Hi

Since you are developing this sensation over the stitches, I would like to tell you that this is pretty normal.
This is basically a sign that the stitches are slowly healing .
This basically happens because there is slow healing taking place which leads to a pull type of skin sensation.
Just take oral vitamin c supplements so as to speed up the healing process.

Hope it helps
