Is It Normal To Have Yellowish Discharge After Taking Postinor?

Hi Doctor, I have taken Postinor 2 about 2 weeks ago, 30 hours since I had unprotected sex. I did not have any bleeding or menstration, as what many have experienced within one week after taking the pills. Instead, I have experienced white/yellowish thick discharge everyday. Kindly advise if this is normal? Does that mean that if I do not have menstration within a week I might be pregnant? Thank you.

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Discharge after sexual intercourse is quite a normal thing, it doesn’t happen every time after sexual intercourse but sometimes it happens. If your periods get delayed by a week then I suggest you go for a pregnancy test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
