Is It Normal To Suffer From Severe Wind After Laparoscopic Hysterectomy And How Will It Ease?

Hi, my name is kerry and I am 42 years and weigh approx 9 stone. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 4 days ago (Monday 20th). Although I have suffered severe wind/cramp I came home on Wednesday evening. I have been managing this by taking wind-eze. Friday and particularly today I have had severe pain when trying to poo and been suffering such bad cramps I feel as though my insides are going to fall out. Is this normal, will it ease. I have never had children and been told these pains are similar to labour pains....

Hi

If the pain is very severe you need to show your surgeon and get also a sonography of your pelvis. You can take a pain killer like Diclofenac till then but it is definitely not normal.
