Is It Normal To Urinate While Having An Orgasm?

when me and my partner have sex and he fingers me i seem to be having what he calls squirting orgasms which he seems to enjoy, although we do worry that i am peeing rather than having an orgasm, i recently recorded myself in detail and found that i am actually peeing when i orgasm and now i have begun to feel like a freak and dont know what i can do, i can not control it and i have even made sure i empty my bladder before sex but i still seem to lose a high amount of fluid and as i say it is from my pee hole and not my vagina, and this is really beginning to worry me.

Hello, and I hope I can answer your question.

Your partner is correct that you have liquid come out of your urinary opening when you orgasm... and that it is not urine. "Squirting" is the lay term for this, but what you are experiencing is female ejaculation which happens in some women when they have a vaginal orgasm. Even though it seems like a lot of fluid, and it comes out of your urinary opening, it is not urine. A lot of liquid can come out, sometimes even enough to fill a cup or soak a towel. The fluid is usually watery and does not smell like urine.

There is no reason to feel self-conscious especially if it feels good to you and your partner enjoys it. There is nothing wrong with you physically and what you are experiencing is normal for some women when they have a vaginal orgasm.

I hope this information was helpful to you,

Best wishes, Dr. Brown
