Is It Ok To Normally Clean The Lump At Home After It Burst To Excrete Dark Smelly Blood On The Scrotum?

Hi ive been in a lot of pain i have a lump on my scrotum which this morning has burst and a lot of DARK blood came out it also smells but at least i can move now im thinking of going to my gp i have used about 5 sheets of toilet roll to clean it up and am now going in the bath to clean myself up is this advised?

Hello,

Its fine to clean it up with soap.Dont squeeze it too much.Please go to your GP , so that doctor will check if there are any residual collections which need drainage.Doctor will also prescribe a course of antibiotics and painkillers if there is pain.
