is it ok to get tattooed after having a staph infection?
in june of 2010 i had a staph infection on my spinal cord..i had surgery they removed the abscess and after a 3 or 4 months of recovery i was free of the infection so i was wondering if it would be safe to get a tattoo?

In short: avoid tattoo

Explanation: Tattoos can cause infection by carrying surface organism to deeper tissue. So, it is better to avoid in your case though usage of sterile instruments can reduce/minimize the infection rate. Good luck.
