Is It Okay To Take Janumet Along With Vitamins And Supplementary?

I have diagnosed with diabetic in 2004 but i did not take medicine as it was prescribed to me .I preferred diet and excising and it worked for me. It is only this year in August 2013 when Dr prescribed me Glucofage.The glucofage makes the sugar level worse than before .The last month the Doctor changed the medicine to JANUMET.Now with Janumet the sugar level is almost constant,what make me worried is that Janumet can not be taken with vitamins and supplementary, which i like to do. can Dr advise me?
