Is It Possible For A Doctor To Schedule Induction For My Labour Considering That I Had Recurrent UTIs With A Kidney Infection?
im currently 29 weeks pregnant and I have had 5 reoccurent UTIs this whole pregnancy and last week I got out of the hospital which I was.in for 5 days straight with a kidney infection. My doctor prescribed me antibiotics until I deliver. Since ive been home my back pain has gone away but the pain has increased during urination I don t think the antibiotics are helping. Is it possible my doctor will schedule induction for my labor?
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having resistant urinary tract infection. I do not think your doctor may go for induction of labor if there is UTI only. They will go for urine test and culture to know causative bacteria and specific antibiotics working against that organisms. Afterwards they will go for specific medicine course for long time. Ok and take care.
