Is It Possible That Heartburn, Headaches And Strange Dreams Mean That I Am Pregnant?
I am 11 days late for my period. I was due 02/13/14. I did have a urine preg test that day due to a endoscopy that I had on 02/13/14. It was negative because they did do the test. I still have not had my period. I feel like I am getting it but nothing. I have had heartburn, headache, strange dreams, and sensitive to smells the past few days. Most of it is all at the same time. Could I be pregnant? How long should I wait to take a test? I was in the hospital 1/20-01/27 of this year. for stomach issues
Hi, In order to take a HPT you should wait for 3-7 days after you miss a period and get the fresh early morning sample. You can get an earlier and better confirmation through estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. If you have never missed a period so far, you should definitely consider pregnancy if you are sexually active without any contraception. You can also get a trans-vaginal sonogram for clarity on the issue. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
